Enlightenment Intro/Study Questions

At the beginning of the Enlightenment Unit, you answered these questions based on your personal beliefs.  As you've seen throughout the unit, different scientists and philosophers would answer the questions differently (and would be interested in different questions).  As you review for your Enlightenment Test, try to apply the ideas of the scientists and philosophers about whom you have learned - how would they answers the questions?  What would they be interested in?  This type of application question will figure heavily on your test.

Enlightenment Review Sheet

...can be found here.

Remember, in addition to knowing the names and terms, you need to know why these things are still important, and how the ideas of Enlightenment era philosophers can be applied today.

Review Materials

When reviewing, think not only of the names and terms, but also how these ideas fit together to form a narrative.  In other words, you should be able to use names and terms to tell the story of the Protestant Reformation as a whole.

A fun way to review!  The Protestant Reformation Song!

Review the terms and apply them using the Protestant Reformation Perspectives chart.

Coming soon - the Protestant Reformation Review Sheet.
